A national association for physicians planned a
sports day to gather its members together between biannual
conventions. To tie into the special event and appeal to a typical
physician's interest, the association distributed hand-held
computerized golf games to its members. The games offered an
electronic full-feature par-72 course, complete with sand traps and
water hazards, and even allowed one or two players to select the
appropriate club for any given shot. The game, which fit neatly into
a jacket or shirt pocket, was housed in a black vinyl case with
ample imprint space.
